The Security Resolution Manager for Asia is responsible for implementing and overseeing RL’s cybersecurity policies and standards across the region, ensuring alignment with local regulations and global directives. This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise and direct experience in cybersecurity operations, risk assessments, and incident management. The position collaborates closely with regional cybersecurity experts.

  • Regulatory Compliance & Governance
    • Monitor and interpret evolving cybersecurity regulations across Asian jurisdictions.
    • Ensure compliance with local laws (e.g., China’s Cybersecurity Law, Korea’s ISMS, India’s DPDP Act) and global standards.
    • Coordinate gap analyses and remediation plans to maintain regulatory and policy alignment.
    • Manage regulatory interactions and reporting requirements.
  • Security Operations & Incident Management
    • Lead the response and resolution of cybersecurity incidents in Asia, including third-party breaches.
    • Conduct post-incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
    • Collaborate with vulnerability management teams to address high-risk issues in regional systems.
  • Risk Management & Assessments
    • Perform cyber risk assessments on IT systems and third-party vendors.
    • Evaluate and manage local security exceptions in line with global standards.
    • Support business units in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Align with IT Leaders on strategy, objectives, and regulatory engagements.
    • Work closely with global and regional teams (SOC, IT, Legal, Risk, Compliance) to resolve issues and remove blockers.
    • Deliver cybersecurity awareness and training tailored to the regional threat landscape.
    • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for internal leadership and external regulators.


Experience, Skills & Knowledge


  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a strong track record in incident management and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and frameworks in Asia.
  • Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity technologies and threat landscapes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional, multicultural teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Multilingual capabilities or prior experience working in Asia is advantageous.
