The job holder will establish and deliver functional excellence through project managerial support to Digital and R&D teams to execute highest quality services to the business and to improve team’s productivity.  The role involves overseeing projects within the HK Digital Product Creation (DPC) and R&D team.

  • Ensure consistently high quality of services and driving digital innovation in sourcing operations. 
  • Enforce controls and measures to ensure RL SOPs are documented, to help drive implementation of team’s best practices and processes for sourcing teams and factories. 
  • Oversee and ensure all key Tier 1 apparel vendors are RL 3D certified and continue to maintain certification status. Oversee HK DPC team’s support to Ralph Lauren brands and cross functional teams for DPC implementation and building capacity for digital creation.
  • Oversee the KPI tracking and reporting by DPC team for vendor performance quarterly, including the annual performance review meetings with vendors. 
  • Create and maintain a detailed tracker for R&D and Digital initiatives including identifying tasks, dependencies, and milestones; and identifying resource needs.
  • Support the planning, execution and monitoring of R&D and DPC projects, ensuring timeline and deliverables are met.
  • Coordinate and communicate regular project updates and progress to team lead and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the process.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and changes, proactively identifying them early.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and check-ins, fostering collaboration and ensure efficient communication among team members.
  • Forecast, plan and book digital capacity in advance to ensure smooth operations across all DPC workstreams. 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s, or diploma with 6 – 9 years working experience in apparel industry.
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years working experience in DPC team
  • Technical proficiency - must be able to use computers, work in Excel, Powerpoint and generate reports.
  • Technical proficiency – must have basic working knowledge of 3D apparel software and basic understanding of pattern making, sourcing, materials and quality in a fashion company.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills with experience managing cross functional teams and contractors. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a desire to help others excel.  
  • Demonstrates a willingness to work with cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and generate detailed reports for presentations.
