Position Overview
Ralph Lauren Corporation is seeking an ambitious and highly analytical person to join the Ralph Lauren North America FP&A team. The individual will work together with key finance and business partners to support regional North America reporting & analytics, as well as assist in providing financial support to the North America Marketing teams. Assist with the technical execution of reporting, consolidation, and detailed data scrubbing and analytics activities for the North America Region. Track and analyze Marketing spend, while supporting Marketing teams with Finance support, metrics, and ROI analysis.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic financial professional with the ability to multi-task with a high degree of analytical proficiency and integrity. This position requires good foundational knowledge and experience in finance/accounting and a firm understanding of both financial and retail concepts with ability to work with wide range of business partners as their finance resource.

· Generate & Maintain Standard North America Reporting suite – For Plan, Forecast & Perior-End Close Reporting. Help to roll forward reporting month to month, retrieve and refresh details as needed, and streamline reporting and data retrieves. (P&L Models, KPI Reporting, Various Expense Views, COGS & Cost Variance breakouts, etc.)
· Create partnerships and work with channel FP&A teams to collect data & analytical insights to complete and add context to regional reports & presentations
· Assist with Month/Quarter end close, analyze monthly expense activity, identify items for reclass, work with teams to obtain accrual support, and create journal entries with accounting to execute
· Assist in the creation of monthly/quarterly deliverables to our Corporate FP&A partners, including P&L details and other ad hoc requests as needed/requested
· Develop partnerships with our regional Marketing teams to provide support in managing expenses and to maintain a complete and accurate Forecast for specific areas. Tracking actual spend, identifying items for accrual & obtaining support, and working to resolve issues and discrepancies.
· Provide reporting and information to business partners as needed to facilitate informed financial decision-making by business and achievement of budget/forecast targets
· Assist in AP / Invoice Management, assisting with Invoice lookup and research to help assist in key areas of analysis, primarily around media and regional Marketing spend.
· Help to compile and validate data points used to support BOD and regional leadership presentations
· Expense / T&E Reporting & Analysis – Run T&E reporting for the entire Org including actualized details by person, compare against Forecast / Plan and dig into meaningful discrepancies & variance drivers. Analysis of High activity expense areas to help with Invoice lookup and validation of charges to ensure alignment with Forecast / Plan.
· Provide support in the preparation of annual Budget and LRP process
· Maintain Flexibility and ability to pivot to ad hoc reqeusts and requirements
Ability to assist with Presentation creation as bandwidth and knowledge base expand
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
· Minimum of 3-5 years of Finance or Accounting experience; FP&A in a multinational or retail company preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
· Systems experience with SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, a plus
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with senior level management
· Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills are required
· Agile learner – able to quickly assimilate relationships between variables under analysis
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including deadline-sensitive priorities
· Flexibility in adjusting and reprioritizing to meet changing needs in a fast-paced work environment
· Must have highest degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail
· Must be self-motivated/self-starter with the ability to work independently
· Team player possessing a strong work ethic
