Position Overview
Responsible for directing and executing multiple Interior Design projects simultaneously, to include selection, presentation, coordination, installation and budgeting of all decorative elements for retail stores and wholesale shop environments.

- Give creative direction for Interior Design of Ralph Lauren new store and renovation projects, bringing new creative ideas to the table within the world of RL brand aesthetics.
- Research new store concepts and ideas for presentation to department head.
- Responsible for direction, management and coaching/development of Interior Design manager and associates.
- Forge relationships with internal senior management, domestic & international retail and wholesale business partners, and creative services partners, to manage project scope and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Partner with architecture store design teams on space design and project development.
- Handle and direct on-site installations.
- Source and select decorative items and concepts for approval by department head.
- Negotiate costs with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Oversee project budgets and partner with finance to resolve any issues.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Education in Interior Design or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong experience in Interior Design and/or Store Design, preferably in luxury retail or high-end residential firm.
- Strong people management skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Ability to read and understand architectural/construction drawings and draft and draw space and floor layouts.
- Ability to direct and elevate projects consistent with Ralph Lauren aesthetic.
- Required Computer Skills: Microsoft Office 365.
- SmartSheets, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), AutoCAD is a plus.
