Position Overview
The Employee Communications Lead is responsible for supporting the development and execution of internal communications strategies, ensuring alignment with the Company’s goals, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The individual will work closely with our Head of Employee Communications, Studio, and Employee Communications regional leads to create, curate, and distribute key messages, employee stories, and key initiatives across various channels, driving employee engagement and organizational alignment.
The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented, team player, innovative, and strategic communications professional with strong project, change and people management, exceptional writing capabilities, and developing comprehensive communications strategies for employee storytelling, engagement, execution and measuring success.

Corporate Functions & Initiatives
· Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with business partners across functions and regions
· Partner with and serve as a communications liaison to corporate functions, including but not limited to: Marketing, Creative & Design, Lifestyle, Operations, Product & Merchandising, and Innovation to ensure we are amplifying initiatives to our employees and connecting, where possible, to how their activities enable progress toward our Next Great Chapter: Accelerate strategy.
· Considering functions’ activities/calendars, identify key milestones and initiatives that fit within the Employee Comms storytelling pillars that help educate, inspire and engage our employees on how we bring the RL brand and vision to life.
· Partner with Employee Communications Senior Manager to manage core protocols, documents, and principles that bring efficiency to the team and Company and support streamlined workflow, efficiencies, and content-sharing, including the global calendar and sharing key events such as Global Town Halls, AMAs, & In Conversation with…with the broader organization.
· Lead select global employee engagement and change management on key Company transformation initiatives and projects, including technology updates and new tech tools, Project Cross-Stitch and OurMoveForward Project.
· For Global Town Halls, manage the logistics for employee invitations in partnership with the Studio, attendance management, Q&A and post-Town Hall recap for CICO and ELT.
Storytelling & Channels Management
· Support engagement, strategic editorial planning and project management of introducing and maintaining new and enhanced internal channels, including the weekly newsletter, intranet, social platform, and emails.
· Partner with Employee Comms Senior Manager to manage the global corporate editorial calendar for the Company
· Develop measurements to demonstrate impact and maintain pulse on employee sentiment, including but not limited to standardized surveys, engagement dashboards, and quarterly recaps.
· Manage local or special projects agency partners
· Introduce new, creative ways to reach our employees with the news and information they care about, and drive their engagement in Company initiatives, including new series that align with the employee comms storytelling pillars.
Cross-Region Collaboration & EVP
· Collaborate with regional comms leads to ensure consistency, while considering local nuances and priorities, across comms channels and focus areas
· Identify similar initiatives that are taking place across regions that can be elevated into global highlights of cross-pollination and lifting & shifting best practices
· Identify opportunities for potential pitches to Corporate Communications for impactful initiatives that set the Company apart and reinforce us as an industry leader.
· Partner with the Head of Employee Comms and People & Culture Comms Manager on the strategic planning for a Company employer brand (our creative expression of our EVP) in collaboration with the People team.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Key Skills/Experience Required:
· Reputation and track record of being strategic and execution-oriented.
· Experience with change and people management
· Solid understanding of how to develop communications strategies to bring about perception change and build an understanding of new direction
· Experience developing, managing and measuring the impact of communications and engagement on internal channels
· Solutions-oriented and strategic problem solver with the ability to think enterprise-wide and link initiatives to organizational priorities
