We are looking for an energetic, driven and hands on assistant store manager to join our successful store, Ralph Lauren Indooroopilly.  As the assistant store manager, you will be responsible working with the store manager to drive sales, motivate your team, while looking for opportunities to further grow your business.

  • Supporting the Store Manager to manage the sales team to maximise sales and profit performance

  • Motivate the team to achieve weekly targets and store standards

  • Proven track record of success, including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management and co-workers

  • Supporting with the recruitment and selection of great talent into the team

  • Collaborate with the Brand Image team to identify VM opportunities and deliver on plans

  • Drive store operations including visual merchandising, stock control, BOH processes and WFM/roster management 

  • Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the business

  • Strong business acumen 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Retail Management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred

  • Proven track record in sales, customer service and managing performance

  • Strong merchandise and stock management experience

  • Excellent team player who enjoys motivating and mentoring the team

  • Is confident and comfortable in making autonomous decisions when required

  • Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the business

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including after store hours, weekdays and weekends

  • Sound understanding of fashion and the retail environment, including trends, fashion and competitors
