Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $65000 - $129225 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

Position Overview

The Manager, Production & Sourcing for Women’s Polo is responsible for executing seasonal production strategies, managing sourcing and OTB processes, and driving on-time, on-cost delivery of product that meets brand standards for quality and design. This role partners closely with Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Raw Materials, Global Sourcing Offices, and Regional Buying teams to ensure seamless execution from development through bulk production and market delivery.

The role requires strong operational ownership, cross-functional communication, and the ability to proactively manage risk while supporting broader business and brand objectives.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

OTB & Production Planning

  • Support the Production team with sourcing allocations, TNAs, and OTB management within GFE / PLM
  • Build, analyze, and communicate TNA plans with sourcing offices, ensuring alignment across fabric, production, and logistics timelines
  • Identify timing, cost, and capacity risks; propose solutions and escalate issues to Lead and Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) as needed
  • Support seasonal production planning to optimize post-market commits and chasing opportunities
  • Partner with Raw Materials on strategic core fabric positioning for Women’s Polo programs
  • Support adherence to Post Market Flexibility targets 
  • Secure and reconcile buy commitments, ensuring contracted deliveries are met by mills and vendors

Product Development & Operational Execution

  • Manage the execution of complete and accurate tech packs and specifications within PLM
  • Partner with Technical Design on prototype development, wash processes, fabric treatments, and fit execution
  • Manage print, graphic, and dip development and approval processes
  • Coordinate trims, labels, specialty hangtags, and branding elements in partnership with Raw Materials and Fabric teams
  • Maintain development calendars and tracking tools to ensure all milestones are met
  • Drive BOM completeness, status reporting, and follow-through throughout development
  • Support vendor selection and development based on performance, capability, and Polo-specific construction needs
  • Lead problem-solving for both regular and off-calendar styles

Cost Management & Margin Support

  • Ensure cost sheets are completed accurately in PLM and flow through GFE in alignment with milestone calendars (Flash, Board Review, Proto, SRS, Bulk)
  • Present upfront Flash costing and support cost engineering discussions during development
  • Analyze garment construction, material costs, labor, and lead times to support cost negotiations
  • Participate in seasonal costing meetings with sourcing offices
  • Support AUC costing analysis and flag risks to margin goals early
  • Pull end-of-season business analysis and report findings to Lead

Chase, Reconciliation & Rebalancing

  • Support execution of Chase and Reconciliation/Rebalancing Playbook milestones
  • Manage OTBs 
  • Maintain and update tracking tools including OTBs, delivery status, and cost updates
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy and timely execution

SRS, Bulk & PO Management (GFE / PLM / SAP)

  • Manage SRS and showroom sample process, ensuring readiness for rack reviews, line reviews, and market
  • Lock and export SRS and Bulk units and issue GFE downloads to vendors
  • Ensure sample quantities and configurations are accurate; partner with vendors on corrections as needed
  • Issue PRS / PIRS to NY Ops for non-HKO vendors
  • Participate in SRS PODs with sourcing offices to track progress and mitigate delivery risks
  • Maintain SRS tracking reports and communicate status updates and risks to CFT partners and management

Production Management

  • Support adherence to corporate calendars and brand milestones
  • Review monthly delivery flow and capacity reports to support allocation and buy strategies
  • Support management of factory-direct programs, including allocation and capacity planning
  • Drive timely approvals of raw materials and development components
  • Support liability tracking and utilization in O9
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate quality or delivery concerns as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Women’s Polo brand standards and quality expectations

Operational Excellence, Innovation & Sustainability

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across development and production processes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify efficiencies and executional enhancements
  • Support sustainable sourcing and development practices aligned with brand initiatives
  • Partner with overseas offices to help implement pre-production process improvements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Raw Materials, Regional Buyers, and Sourcing Offices to support timely decision-making
  • Communicate clearly and proactively on cost, timing, and execution risks
  • Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings and support issue resolution
  • Influence decision-making while maintaining alignment with brand and business goals

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in Production, Sourcing, or Product Development 
  • Category experience in knits or Polo product strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of GFE, PLM, SAP, O9
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with global vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced seasonal environment
