Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $65000 - $95000 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

Position Overview

The Architecture & Design, Process & Reporting Manager will support the RL Architecture & Design Studio by managing data, processes and reporting related to store design and construction. A champion of best practices, s/he will work closely with Architects and Project Managers across all regions to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and data accuracy that enables standardized project reporting to key stakeholders. S/he will periodically evaluate processes and performance data to propose improvements where needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management Process Analysis & Improvement

·      Assist in documenting, analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

·      Monitor and measure effectiveness of implemented processes.

·      Introduce new processes to ensure reporting accuracy and conduct regular audits.

·      Maintain the RLAD+S Global SOP and provide training and governance to ensure adherence to the SOP.

Reporting and Metrics

·      Support the development of best-in-class tools to enable department reporting related to workload, project delivery and sustainability goals for store construction.

·      Develop, implement and maintain an ecosystem of custom reports and dashboards to communicate project status, trends, and key insights to stakeholders. Identify areas for improvement and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency.

·      Collect, organize and analyze data from budgets, schedules and resources through complex solutions in Smartsheet. Utilize Business Intelligence best practices for optimal data collection, analysis and archival.  Harness AI and innovative tools to transform data into actionable insights

·      Work alongside Data Scientists to establish and maintain a data pipeline between Smartsheet and business intelligence tools like PowerBI and DataIku.

·      Create simple and intuitive instructions for effective and efficient use of these tools.  Conduct How-To videos and Lunch and Learn sessions with end-users, both within the department and with partners within the company. 

Champion Best Practices

·      Be a champion of best practices for project and data management across the department.

·      Establish best practices for implementing DataMesh, DataShuttle, Control Center, Bridge, and ensure reliable data synchronization between Smartsheet and other internal systems.

Sustainability Agenda

·      Assist in training and documentation of the Sustainability Maintenance Program for store design and construction, coordinating deliverables with internal and external partners and tracking KPIs.


Experience, Skills & Knowledge

·       5 years of related experience in data analysis and reporting in Architecture and Construction

·       Excellent project management skills, with ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

·       Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with teams across the organization

·       Passion for data and problem-solving

·       Strong analytical skills, with ability to draw conclusions and make inferences from data to drive good decisions

·       Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a collaborative work style

·       Good communication skills, presenting information and ideas clearly and accurately

·       Proficiency in Smartsheet, Smartsheet Premium tools (DataMesh, DataShuttle, Control Center, Bridge)

·       Good working knowledge of how different business intelligence tools that integrate with Smartsheet
