Position Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Applications Analyst. Reporting to the WMS Applications Manager, this role will provide technological solutions and reliable support for WMS across Asia Pacific warehouses. Contribute to system configuration, customization, integration, and optimization to enhance inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, operational efficiency, and scalability in a multi-site retail environment. Collaborate regionally to resolve issues, implement changes, and drive continuous improvement while adapting to diverse local needs and regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver application support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for WMS systems
- Perform development, configuration, and customization in both platforms
- Design, coordinate, and test integration with ERP, OMS, TMS, and other systems (APIs, EDI, file exchanges)
- Gather requirements, conduct analysis, and create functional specs, data mappings, and test cases
- Execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing for quality deployments
- Work closely with local/regional warehouse teams, IT, and vendors, support training and user adoption
- Document processes, configurations, and integrations; identify and implement improvements
- Monitor system performance and proactively address bottlenecks or optimization opportunities
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, or related field
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with WMS in retail/logistics
- Proven experience in WMS development, configuration, customization, and support; Strong preference for hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management and Omlog Logistica
- Knowledge of core WMS processes (receiving, putaway, picking, packing, inventory control, shipping)
- Experience with requirements gathering, functional design, testing, and documentation
- Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, EDI, interfaces)
- Proficiency in SQL is preferred
- Proactive, self-motivated team player with strong English communication skills (Mandarin/other APAC languages a plus)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; occasional off-hours support for Asia Pacific time zones
