Position Overview
Responsible for establishing the Supply Chain ecommerce Distribution Center operations and the on-going customer fulfilment and delivery operations for the APAC business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment Performance
- Ensure the day to day execution for e-com fulfilment operations in Hong Kong DC
- Detailed management of specific picking and packing processes
- Ensure alignment with eCommerce operations fulfilment, and to ensure opportunities are leveraged to minimize costs and ensure service commitment
- Establish and monitor performance KPI's for all critical aspects of the Fulfilment lifecycle, DC operations and 3PL performanc
Logistics Data Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze APAC eCommerce order fulfillment data, including shipping lead times, delivery accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and propose data-driven solutions to improve lead time and reduce costs.
- Monitor carrier performance and recommend adjustments to optimize service levels.
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Manage historical sales and forecast models to support inventory and consumables allocation across distribution centers.
- Provide insights on inventory turnover and recommend strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock.
Cost Analysis & Budget Control
- Validate supplier invoices and ensure correct allocation to accounts, through coordination with Finance teams
- Monitor budget adherence for eCommerce logistics operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with eCommerce operations, warehouse teams, and 3PL to streamline processes.
- Work closely with IT to enhance system integrations for order tracking and inventory visibility.
- Support marketing and customer service teams with logistics-related insights for promotions and service improvements.
- Be a key coordination point with the regional contact centre for inventory checks, returns management and issue resolution
- Actively support the Customer Service team, Finance, and other internal functions in resolving exception issues
Reporting & Insights
- Develop dashboards and reports to visualize logistics performance for senior management.
- Translate complex logistics data into actionable recommendations for business decisions.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.
- Identify opportunities for automation in order processing and shipment tracking.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor Degree or above in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Statistics/ Industrial Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years e-commerce logistics experience and 2 years or above experience in managing 3PL service providers in relations to Ecommerce services
- Ability to implement a score card to improve and upgrade the business on a seasonal basis
- Good negotiation & influencing skills
- Strong analytical expertise and MS Excel skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple activities
- Concise presentation and communication skills, both spoken and written English preferred
