Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $85000 - $161444 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

Position Overview

Drive Merchandising process, identifying growth opportunities and protect needs of business for knit and sweater product categories. Work closely with regional merchandising, design and production teams to manage development process of product category.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish line plans with planning team that reflect regional needs and merchandising strategy
  • Partner with regional teams to understand needs of regional businesses
  • Create and present seasonal product strategy and line plan for product category, ensuring all support global brand direction
  • Partner with production and design to achieve product category IMU targets
  • Merchant lead during proto and line reviews and line status meetings
  • Drive calendar and process for key milestones
  • Manage team on all board review, adoption, line review and line opening materials
  • Ensure integrity of all merchandising systems and that information is communicated timely and accurately cross functionally
  • Work with cross functional marketing teams relaying information and product needs pertaining to campaigns
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and create efficiencies
  • Knowledge of competition and trends, identifying new opportunities appropriate for the Lauren brand
  • Manage and develop team

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Merchandising or Buying experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal & teamwork skills
  • Demonstrates leadership and influencing skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and accurate
  • Strong analytical and retail math skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
