Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $90000 - $160000 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

Position Overview

The Ralph’s Coffee Merchandise Category Lead will lead strategic initiatives to expand Ralph’s Coffee merchandise globally, driving alignment across Home and non-Home product categories. This role will serve as a key connector between merchandising, planning, regional teams, and channel leads to unlock growth opportunities and elevate the Ralph’s Coffee brand through thoughtful product development and cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development & Planning
  • Lead strategic planning efforts for Ralph’s Coffee merchandise, identifying new product categories, partnerships, and market opportunities.
  • Maximize business opportunities across portfolios by leveraging data, consumer insights, and performance metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Break down barriers between regions and channels to ensure seamless execution and scalability of merchandise programs.
Merchandise Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee end-to-end product development for Ralph’s Coffee merchandise, from concept to launch, including seasonal and PR-driven initiatives.
  • Support inventory planning, SKU optimization, and reordering strategies to maintain product freshness and relevance across global locations.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and store design teams to ensure merchandise aligns with brand standards and enhances the customer experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Drive global alignment between Home and non-Home product categories, ensuring consistent brand expression and product synergy across Ralph’s Coffee merchandise.
  • Partner with the Home Merchandising team to embed Home category integration into Ralph’s Coffee product strategies. 
  • Act as a strategic partner to regional leads, store operations, and marketing teams to ensure merchandise plans are locally relevant and globally scalable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Ralph’s Coffee merchandise reflects the brand’s hospitality ethos and supports broader Home initiatives.
  • Support Home team initiatives, including collaborative development of candles and other Home-integrated products.
  • Liaise with finance, planning, and procurement to ensure merchandise strategies are financially sound and operationally feasible.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Several years of experience in business development, merchandising, or strategic planning within retail, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across global markets.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in product performance analysis and strategic forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Passion for hospitality and lifestyle branding.
