Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $169541 - $211750 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

TITLE:

IBP Data Strategy Lead

DUTIES:

Develop and execute data strategy that aligns with our business goals, while also providing architectural guidance and technical enablement for our integrated business planning initiatives. Develop a clear vision and strategic roadmap for data that aligns to the needs of IBP. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and priorities. Ensure the data strategy addresses these needs effectively. Design and implement a robust data ecosystem that integrates various data sources, including internal systems and external data providers, to ensure comprehensive and accurate data availability. Implement data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Partner to build a robust demand forecasting platform using the latest AI and ML technologies and develop strategy to integrate these forecasting systems into the overall IBP and Data Landscape. Adopt and augment policies and procedures for data management, stewardship, and compliance. Evaluate and select appropriate data technologies, tools, and platforms to support the data strategy. Stay updated with emerging trends and innovations in data science and analytics. Promote a culture of data literacy and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Provide training and resources to empower employees to leverage data effectively. Continuously explore new opportunities to leverage data for business innovation and process improvements. Drive initiatives that enhance data capabilities and provide a competitive edge. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Business Planning, Finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and ensure alignment with the data strategy. Partner with the Finance & Planning Analytics Lead and Enterprise Programs Delivery Lead to align quarterly goals for the Data and Analytics team. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the data strategy and make data-driven adjustments as needed. Provide data architectural leadership and direction for integrated business planning systems within the Data & Analytics domain. Design and implement scalable and robust data architectures that support integrated business planning processes. Telecommuting permitted, must report into office as needed. 10% domestic and international travel required.

SALARY:

$169,541 - $211,750/yr.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer/Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field and 10 years of experience in the position offered or related, or a Master’s degree in the above mentioned fields and 6 years of experience in the position offered or related. Must have 6 years of experience with all of the following: working with big data, data warehousing, analytics, and data science related technologies including data lakes and machine learning; working with data science teams in refining and optimizing data science and machine learning models and algorithms; working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with executive business stakeholders in support of a departmental and/or multi-departmental analytics initiatives; working with augmented AI/ML platforms like Dataiku or Data Robot, pretrained models and integrated ML and AI solutions; Data management principles and architecture including data warehouses (Amazon Redshift), data lakes (Amazon S3) and extract, transform, load/extract, load, transform (ETL/ELT) tools (AWS Glue); Visualizations and Insights generation using MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlikview and PowerBI; working with data governance, data quality, and data security teams and specifically and privacy and security officers in moving data pipelines into production with appropriate data quality, governance and security standards; working in agile methodologies; and applying DevOps and increasingly DataOps principles to data pipelines to improve the communication, integration, reuse and automation of data flows between data managers and consumers across an organization.
