Position Overview
This role is pivotal in shaping Ralph Laurens presence in the UK & Ireland wholesale channels, ensuring that the menswear collections are commercially successful, drive sustainable profitable growth and aligned with the brand’s identity, storytelling and long-term vision.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute wholesale sales strategies to drive profitability revenue growth across all menswear brands.
· Develop and exceed financial plans and growth strategies for all MW Brands/Wholesale channels
· Responsible for the MW Brands P&L
· Account Management: Cultivate relationships with key wholesale partners, department stores, and specialty retailers.
· Team Oversight: Lead and coach a sales team of +10 RL employees, incl. RL Golf agents including managers and account executives, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
Leadership & Culture:
· Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and inclusion.
· Set team goals, monitor performance, and support career progression.
· Champion Ralph Lauren’s values of individuality, optimism, and timeless style.
Forecasting & Budgeting:
· Own seasonal sales forecasts, profit targets, and inventory planning in collaboration with merchandising and finance.
· Market Expansion, identify new business opportunities through a carefully monitored and executed distribution plan, and an entrepreneurial approach to category development.
Brand Alignment:
· Ensure all wholesale presentations and assortments reflect the brand’s elevated positioning and storytelling.
· Adopt an Omni channel approach by working closely with DTC Leads.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Partner with Sales Operations, EMEA & Global merchandising product, Marketing, Finance & logistics teams to support business and brand operational excellence.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
· Proven success in wholesale sales leadership, within premium or luxury menswear.
· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with top-tier retail partners.
· Deep understanding of market trends, seasonal buying cycles, and consumer behavior.
· Experience with digital wholesale platforms and CRM tools.
· Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and strategic decisions.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
