Position Overview

The Digital Transformation Lead will focus on strategies and future state processes incorporating 3D, Adobe Creative Cloud, Color Tools and PLM. As part of a dynamic and collaborative team, he/she will lead the business transformation using technologies within the product design and development space. 

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally playing a vital role in managing the launch and ongoing success of strategic initiatives. This individual will be an advocate for existing and emerging technology and leverage diplomacy and creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and enable the corporation to move forward with best in class technologies improving the way we work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and support strategic initiatives and technologies across RL’s global organization.  
Engage with business and IT partners to develop business requirements, create project plans resolve challenges and manage execution.  
Organize pilots and trials with strategic vendors and candidates to determine and report on efficiency gains and ROI.
Partner closely with creative design teams across all brands and categories to identify technology and business capabilities that create efficiencies and reduce cycle time.
Develop and coordinate training and development sessions to build knowledge and skill within the region. 
Advocate and evangelize innovative technologies that elevate design and development processes that include Color Management, Artwork and Graphics, printing technologies, 3D Design, Adobe Creative Cloud, Digital Asset Management, Product Lifecycle Management.
Create and maintain progress/status reports and project documentation. 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel, Textiles, Design, Information Technology or relevant disciplines
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in US buying office or large trading business
Understanding of the design and development processes for apparel, accessories, footwear and/or home product categories
Practical experience with industry best-in-class technologies, e.g. Clos, Browzwear, Rhino, Shoemaster, Modo, DataColor, Color iQC, Epson, EFI Fiery, PLM Solutions (FlexPLM Preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Highly motivated, committed, effective and supportive team member, able to work flexibly
Enthusiastic technology advocate with ability to inspire and influence positive change
Proficient in Microsoft office applications
Well spoken and written English. Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage.
