Position Overview

·         Execute regional strategic and secure short-term & long-term capacity through active sourcing and validation of vendors’ performance and capability

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Stay close to market information, conduct research regularly and share with the teams on the market conditionsCollaborate with multiple stakeholders by analyzing capacity and on-time delivery data monthlyManage the key stakeholders across different teams and counterparts to drive changes and resultsBe responsible for maintaining, standardizing and managing the process and vendor databaseDrive regional capacity, supplier management, methods & systems projects; contribute to methods & tools improvement by cooperating with relevant stakeholdersHandle onboarding & supplier exiting activities; evaluate suppliers’ performance & drive continuous development of the vendor baseDevelop and manage a pipeline of potential new vendors and keep them ready for times of needDevelop plans and action items to secure required capacity by travelling across the region to evaluate existing the capability of vendors and explore new vendorsIdentify and mitigate risks and propose solutions/alternative; alert management on high-risk areas, which may impact on production and future businessWork closely with the merchandising team to layout the short-term & long-term capacity growth plans for all brands & products, and to secure an effective sourcing flowClosely review the capacity plan & production schedule with the merchandising team in optimise capacity and utilize available vendorsExecute regional strategies allocation that meets business needs and financial goals

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Willing to travelGood command of written and spoken EnglishProficient with Microsoft Office suite including Power Point, Excel and Visio, and/or other relevant analytical toolsDemonstrates a “can-do” approach in being proactive with work assignmentsExcellent communication and presentation skills, assertive and organizedAnalytical thinker and data literacy; meticulous and with strong follow up skills, able to work under tight timelineGood project management skills and ability to drive changes and improvementsStrong presence with the ability to interact with Senior LeadershipStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills; able to build effective relationship and influence key partners with all levelsProven experience in apparel supply chain, sourcing and with capacity planning is a must; at least 5 - 8 years relevant managerial experienceDegree holder in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline
