Position Overview

The incumbent’s primary responsibility is to provide support to Hong Kong Sourcing to execute on the global sourcing strategy. He/She will support in strategy formulation and financial projection. He/she will also liaise with third party accounting service firms on statutory reporting and tax matters for Sourcing Bangladesh.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support country head to drive performance
  • Work closely with country head on rolling forecast and budget planning
  • Develop financial models for business development projects
  • Partner with the business in driving key business goals and initiatives
  • Liaise with third party accounting service firms on statutory reporting and tax matters
  • Collaborate with global finance partners responsible for Sourcing team, and ensure deliverable and deadlines are met
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and work on special projects as needed 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • CPA, Chartered Accountant or MBA a strong plus
  • 6 to 8 years of combined Accounting and Financial Planning experience
  • Experience working in multi-national buying office / sourcing organization
  • Early career experience in Public Accounting Firm / Tax Firm a strong plus
  • Proven ability to drive results through leadership, skills and initiative
  • Ability to be a solution driver in a challenging environment while working under pressure
  • Ability to drive adherence to tight deadlines
  • Ability to translate organizational goals into strategic plan aligned with corporate financial direction
  • Detail oriented and experience in follow-through and completion of projects
  • Maintain focus while managing multiple priorities
  • Embraces culturally diverse interpersonal relationships, strong business partnering skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze operations and implement procedures to course correct / effect change
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible with can do attitude
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications
  • Experience working with forecast / budget software applications
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
