Position Overview

This is a highly visible role responsible for partnering directly with stakeholders as a thought leader, trusted advisor, and single point of contact for Talent Acquisition. The Talent Associate will serve as a consultant and leader responsible for setting and executing the talent acquisition strategy for the business. This role will also advise business leadership on market trends and best practices in recruiting, optimize hiring strategies, drive process improvements, and deliver on key initiatives including diversity. As the Protector of the Brand, this role ensures the use of Employer Brand messaging and a best-in-class candidate experience. With guidance from TA leadership, this role will be responsible for talent acquisition for our North American regional team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

In partnership with business leadership, hiring managers, and People Team Partners the recruiter develops a recruitment strategy for each role in line with internal processes – provides counsel, guidance on best-in-class talent acquisition strategies, hiring tools/processes.

· Supports Talent team as needed in identifying internal talent and cultivating relationships with emerging leaders.

· Proactively creates and updates a candidate pipeline for key positions that support the business and TA strategy.

· Implements and uses tools to support the TA Strategy and the TA Process – job approval process, candidate slates, interview question guides, robust and brand appropriate job postings, employer brand collateral/videos.

· Responsible for driving the attraction, interview, selection and hiring process from position launch through to offer acceptance.

· Proactively sources candidates through internal and external vehicles: internal movement, university relations, candidate pipelines, networking, internet job postings, employee referrals, external partners, and other creative sourcing venues

· Screens, assesses, and presents candidates to hiring manager to move forward with the interview and selection process.

· Manage the candidate experience through seamless execution of interview process. Arranges timely interviews for the interview panel members and candidates.

· Leads the candidate calibration conversation with the hiring manager to identify final candidate.

· Responsible for finalizing offer process, offer creation and seamless communication to all stakeholders

· Achieves established KPIs – Career Site Experience, Diverse Candidate Slates, Productivity, Cost of Hire, etc.

You will need a strong business acumen, comfort with analytics, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and people management skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

· Experience in talent acquisition including; candidate sourcing, attraction, selection and assessment methods

· Proven ability to actively manage talent pipelines to ensure healthy funnels within a Commercial space

· Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities, highly effective in dealing with ambiguity

· Capable to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner; seen as a strategic partner

· Able to balance working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment in a fast-paced energetic culture

· Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation skills, and customer service skills

· Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion, and professional courtesy

· Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with ATS systems
