Position Overview
At Ralph Lauren, our Sustainability Department is leading the effort to adopt more sustainable business practices in order to minimize our impact on the environment. This involves producing products in a more responsible manner, increasing use of renewable energy, reducing waste, minimizing pollution from manufacturing, and enhancing water efficiencies in our supply chain.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
What you will experience:
- Gain hands-on experience in sustainability management and data analysis
- Work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative team
- Attend operations meetings and understand the day-to-day work from the department
- Receive coaching and on-going feedback from your supervisor
- Support team on managing external tools/reports (such as carbon toolkits, CIM tools, ZDHC test reports, violation checks etc.)
- Support with Excel spreadsheets for scorecard calculations and dashboards
- Assist in improving the structuring of the team's SharePoint folders
- Additional tasks based on skills and interest
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Full-time college students
- Passionate about sustainability and interest in environmental issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- A great team player
- Open minded to learn the company and the culture
- Fluent in spoken and written English & Cantonese
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis
