Position Overview

Ralph Lauren Corporation (NYSE: RL) is a leader in the design, marketing and distribution of premium lifestyle products in four categories:apparel, home, accessories and fragrances. For more than 45 years, Ralph Lauren's reputation and distinctive image have been consistently developed across an expanding number of products, brands and international markets.

This role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of global marketing strategies with a focus on driving Purple Label and Kids. The primary objective of the role will be to contribute to business and brand acceleration for Purple Label and Kids brand, while partnering to overall menswear acceleration. Success in the role will come from developing a strong understanding of the brand vision & key business objectives, knowledge of global markets & consumer segments, an understanding of the advertising & digital landscape, and the ability to connect with consumers globally through brand storytelling.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
  • Thought Leadership in Menswear, Children's wear, and Luxury Marketing: Proactively identify and anticipate business opportunities by analyzing consumer behavior, cultural trends, and competitive industry shifts.
  • Drive both short- and long-term marketing initiatives for menswear and kids’ brands by leveraging consumer insights to refine segmentation, targeting, and messaging strategies.
  • Lead development of annual brand plans and calendars for Purple Label and Children's wear in collaboration with Global Marketing Strategy, Consumer Insights, Regional Marketing and Finance teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Global Brand Merchandising to ensure that campaigns and activations are fully aligned with business growth strategies, unlocking new opportunities across key channels, products, and categories.
  • Develop and present comprehensive brand and campaign recaps, using performance metrics to highlight successes and pinpoint areas for strategic improvement.
Creative Collaboration:
  • Establish and nurture a strong relationship with Design teams, acting as a champion for the creative vision across all marketing initiatives.
  • Lead the creative briefing process by defining messaging priorities and ensuring an efficient communication workflow with creative agencies.
  • Play an active role in shaping creative concepts for campaigns, ensuring they are on-brand, engaging, and tailored to the target audience. 
Campaign Execution: 
  • Lead the development of specialized campaigns for Purple Label and Children's wear, managing the process from initial insights to creative brief development and final execution.
  • Contribute to strategic development and execution of Masterbrand campaigns (including sports and holidays) and ensure successful integration of Purple Label and Children's wear.
  • Provide clear and detailed briefs to external agencies, outlining campaign objectives, target demographics, and key messaging. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams—including design, merchandising, and agency partners—to ensure creative execution meets strategic objectives. · Oversee the creation and execution of detailed shot lists that align with creative concepts and overall campaign goals.
  • Partner with regional teams (NA, EMEA, & APAC) as well as Public Relations, Paid Media, Special Events, Digital (Social, Search, Website, Email), Retail/Stores, Licensing, and other external partners to plan and execute comprehensive global 360° marketing initiatives.
Operational Execution
  • Ensure seamless project execution by planning and monitoring key milestones and guaranteeing the timely delivery of all marketing deliverables. 
  • Collaborate with regional and channel teams to maintain a consistent implementation of the plans. 
Communication and Coordination: 
  • Develop and maintain essential operational documents, including strategy presentations, brand and campaign plans, run-of-show schedules, and campaign recaps. · Keep global marketing calendars up-to-date to ensure alignment and accuracy across initiatives. 
  • Effectively communicate global strategies and marketing plans to internal teams, leading cross-functional work streams, coordinating preparation for executive leadership reviews, and delivering presentations. 
Management: 
  • Establish clear performance metrics and career development plans for direct reports, ensuring each team member has defined objectives and the necessary support to achieve them. 
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to nurture the professional growth of team members, setting clear performance expectations and offering constructive feedback.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Professional experience in fashion, digital marketing, and/or agency
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce content for senior presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Mac applications (Outlook, Keynote).
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, in-depth understanding of new media and the digital landscape.
  • Strong team player, self-starter, collaborative, diplomatic, and solution-oriented. 
  • Ability to think proactively, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong follow-through with attention to detail. 
  • Genuine understanding of the Ralph Lauren brand. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Diplomatic and solution-oriented with the ability to navigate a matrixed and multi-stakeholder organization.
