Position Overview

This role will be responsible for supporting the Global Marketing team in the development and execution of global brand campaigns for Ralph Lauren, with a focus on Men’s Polo. The primary objective of the role will be to support in the elevation of the Ralph Lauren brand around the world that will, in turn, continue to build sales across the business. Success in the role will come from developing a strong knowledge of the global markets, an in-depth understanding of the consumer and menswear competitive landscape, implementation of the business strategies and the brand vision/direction to create global strategies, marketing tactics, and stories that can then be adapted for optimal relevance across geographic regions and business channels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution
  • Leverage data and insights to identify short-term and long-term opportunities for the brand.
  • Collaborate with the Design, Global Brand Merchandising, and commercial teams (channels and regions) to align on key priorities to inform marketing strategy. 
  • Develop global marketing strategies and implement plans for Men's Polo that align with brand, consumer, product, and commercial goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, brand merchandising, commercial, regional, digital, PR, Media, Events, Retail, Licensing) to plan and execute campaigns and programs.
  • Project-manage marketing processes and ensure timely delivery of key milestones and deadlines.
Creative Leadership and Collaboration
  • Guide the development of creative concepts that are on-brand, impactful, and relevant for the target consumer and platforms.
  • Manage the creative briefing process for the internal agency team, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.
  • Cultivate partnerships with creative, design, merchandising, and agency teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Analysis and Internal Communications 
  • Provide clear and consistent communication to regional and channel stakeholders, including regular updates and cross-functional meetings.
  • Contribute to Senior Management presentations incl. high-level recaps, key messages, and implications. 
  • Track and analyze campaign performance to measure KPIs, identify learnings, and propose improvements.
  • Manage budgets for specific campaigns and ensure accurate billing and invoicing.
Global Perspective and Thought Leadership
  • Identify consumer, channel, and industry trends to maintain Ralph Lauren's leadership position in menswear.
  • Contribute to and update global marketing calendars to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Deliver global campaign recaps that highlight key results, learnings, and opportunities for improvement.
 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge


  • Marketing experience
  • Preferred experience in fashion and/or menswear marketing.
  • Knowledge and passion for men’s fashion and fashion marketing, and appreciation for what makes consumers’ tick. 
  • Experience with 360 marketing process, from strategic development to implementation and analysis.
  • Fluency in digital/social media platforms, as well as media strategy and planning. 
  • Genuine understanding of and appreciation for the Ralph Lauren brand.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and build strong relationships with cross-functional partners. 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.  
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word).
