Position Overview

Responsible for the coordination, development, order placement, and tracking of bulk inventory for all decorative elements for rollout and custom projects within Ralph Lauren Store Development department. This candidate should be highly organized and self-motivated to help elevate rollout level decorative execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support manager with sourcing, development and selection of decorative items for rollout projects with existing and new vendors on a global level
  • Input new and maintain existing specifications into spreadsheets and Archibus for use by the rollout team 
  • Archive decorative materials and maintain tracking system 
  • Liaise with procurement and vendors on placing and tracking bulk orders 
  • Track inventory of bulk orders, and forecast when replenishments need to be made
  • Track decorative items from point of purchase through delivery 
  • Create and maintain budgets, vendor sourcing libraries, tracking information 
  • Bridge all information between the decorative team and rollout teams 
  • Manage ongoing rollout maintenance requests, one-off custom deco requests, and updates necessary to the decorative library 
  • Establish brand standards and create directives for decorative presentation through brand/concept-specific Decorative Brand Manuals 
  • Maintain and update existing Decorative Brand Manuals

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Education in buying or merchandising field, interior or home product-based a plus
  • Experience in home product buying or merchandising or related field
  • Ability to source, select and to maintain an extremely organized system of decorative elements 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus
  • Ability to use inventory tracking systems such as AS400 or similar
