Position Overview

Ralph Lauren’s – India Global Development Center (GDC) is focused on building high-quality technology solutions to enhance the business & customer experience across channels and geographies. 

 

The Analyst, Information Security & Privacy role is responsible for supporting the Global Information Security & Privacy team to assess potential business and technology risk to formulate recommendations which promote innovation, while aligning the business in a manner consistent with relevant cybersecurity and data protection regulations, and laws in all locations in which we operate.  

 

The selected candidate will build functional and technical expertise centered on liaising with internal stakeholders and third parties to support and automate platforms, and processes to manage IT risk and regulatory compliance. 

 

The Analyst, Information Security & Privacy role will report into the Lead, Information Security & Privacy role located in the GDC. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Protect customer, employee and third-party personal data and corporate assets across the organization
  • Facilitate integration of program objectives with internal and third-party Digital, Retail and Marketing, HR, CRM, and Analytics technology 
  • Develop and maintain IT Risk and Data Protection program metrics and reports

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Passion for Information Security and solving complex challenges
  • Understanding of Security Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management concepts
  • At least 3 years of experience in a security and/or IT environment (Operations, software development, network operations, IT project management or similar position designing and/or implementing enterprise solutions)
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel to create reports, and conduct data analysis
  • At least 1 year of experience with issue tracking and/or digital workflow platforms (such as Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, …)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong problem solving, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
  • Must be self-motivated/self-starter in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work independently and within a team

A plus if candidate has:

  • Familiarity with Virtualization, Cloud Computing and/or SaaS concepts
  • Familiarity with HRM/HRIS (e.g. SAP, Workday), Customer Data and Analytics platforms, and/or Salesforce Commerce/Marketing Cloud (SFCC/SFMC)
  • Experience working in a global retail company
