Positionsübersicht:

Head of Product Management, Polo Women’s will drive overall strategy and execution for Product Development and Production (Full product life cycle) for Polo Women’s Apparel.  

This position will own and continuously integrate quality, innovation, and excitement in driving the End-to-End Process from Product Development through Product Order Execution. This position will establish and maintain effective partnerships with Product Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Sourcing & Logistics 

Grundlegende Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten:

  • Develop a fast, cost effective and flexible Product vision, strategy, and roadmap which supports the strategic imperatives of the divisions and Ralph Lauren. The development of this strategy willpartner closely with Heads of Design & Merchandising at all stages of the product life cycle 

  • This position will drive, communicate and lead the teams to drive the development and execution of the product strategy for the brand to create the best overall value in terms of price, lead-time, and quality 

  • Leads a team of high performing professionals and drives their professional growth and development. 

  • Create Seasonal Calendars in collaboration with Brand to achieve critical milestones, drive efficiencies, and optimize lead times and activities from product development handoff to delivery to store  

  • Lead a well-coordinated product placement strategy that aligns the efforts of Product Development, Design Merchandising and Planning to achieve the unit cost parameters and earnings objectives of our financial operating plans.  

  • Develop a framework to ensure the effectiveness and economics of Production and Sourcing strategies for each market and product category. Ensure brand products are strategically sourced globally, safeguarding against risks in market conditions Partner with cross-functional partners to leverage sourcing strategies. 

 

  • Understand the competitive landscape, Research competitors and comparable products. 

  • Develop a high performing team that is committed to a shared value system based upon integrity and teamwork.
