Position Overview

 Purpose & Scope: Assist with managing the Retail Network Infrastructure daily operations and network-based telephony solutions. Perform system maintenance, identify trends and provide reporting for outages and resolutions. Will be responsible for several different types of network designs installed across the regions including Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Cloudgenix and traditional WAN, IWAN and SDWAN.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide connectivity troubleshooting and support in response to Help Desk service requests and Retail Operations business needs
  • Responsible for all Retail installed routers, switches, wireless access points and telephony connectivity.
  • Management of the wired and wireless infrastructure using tool platforms from our various hardware providers, Cisco, Meraki, Cradlepoint, Cloudgenix, Solarwinds
  • Remote device configuration for MAC work or for SEV 1 hardware replacement
  • Utilize change management best practices and reporting processes.
  • Review monitoring tool platforms, audit for accuracy, and take necessary actions when alerts are generated.
  • Zoom telephony, troubleshoot issues, and assist with configuration and management of the platform.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Professional Experience: 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collects operational data, analyzes results, and monitors variances.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Organized, with a keen attention to details.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
SKILLS:

Qualified candidates must have an in-depth understanding of local and wide area network concepts – IP routing, switching technologies, VLANs, ACLs, ZBFW, SDWAN, Cisco equipment and operating systems, including configuration. Strong technical, troubleshooting, written and oral communication skills with a proven track record for success are imperative.
