Position Overview
Managing Capacity, Purchase Order updates, Supplier Engagement activities from onboarding to exiting and projects to manage our supply chain.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Capacity Planning
- Work closely with merchandising teams to manage capacities & how we utilize them in line with our projections
- Assist manager in preparing reports periodically for merchandising team and management review
- Assist in capacity related projects by either coordinating activities with multiple stakeholders or contributing for system & method enhancements by being vocal
- Apply different systems properly to generate data and support analysis
Purchase Order Updates
- Communicate with Sourcing and Order Management Team for final Purchase Order (PO) price confirmation and manage PO update within the aligned cadence
- Work as a gate keeper to ensure 100% accuracy of All PO fields
Supplier Sourcing & Management
- Support and manage supplier engagement activities from onboarding to exiting including vendor performance assessments
- Maintain supplier database of RL properly in line with sourcing needs to capture the most realistic & up to date info about our suppliers
Compliance, Sustainability, Quality
- Being the point of contact of assigned category for matters or new initiatives that come from other functions of the organization
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years in apparel supply chain, sourcing and with capacity planning experience
- Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to build effective relationship and influence key partners with all levels
- Good communication and presentation skills, assertive and organized
- Demonstrates a “can-do” approach in being proactive with work assignments
- Previous experience on Apparel products, production terminology and production processes is an advantage.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Power Point, Excel and Visio
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Willing to travel
