This is a highly visible and hands-on role for a Human Resources leader with a broad business expertise delivering organizational talent solutions that drive successful business outcomes for a set of business units both in Corporate and in Retail, undergoing significant growth.

 They will lead the development of People strategies and programs aligned to business strategies and in line with the European and Global HR strategy. This lead (Director) will serve as senior Human Resources Business Partner on all people related matters, with a strong focus on talent management, employee engagement, change management, succession planning and employee relations within an industry of rapid change and constant evolution. This role will operate both as a strategic and operational HR leader.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Work in collaboration with the Head of People Business Partnership, EMEA, to set the vision, diagnose and execute change and initiatives within the Region.

- Provide organizational development interventions and support, including customized solutions by department, leadership coaching, and proactive change management.

- Plans, directs and controls all human resources activities for Region Germany.

- Leadership and management of the Region Germany People team, guiding, inspiring and nurturing the People team. Create an environment where the team grows and develops.

- Elevate the Employee Experience, work towards strategies that elevate the engagement and engagement of the employees both in corporate and Retail across the Region.

- Talent Acquisition, coordinate efforts that enhance the candidate experience with a service-oriented mindset towards the internal business leaders.

- Partner with business for HR initiatives and employee relations for his/her direct reports as well.

- Act as the project leader for HR initiatives like Performance review, Salary review, S&B budgeting.

- Initiate / implement / review or coordinate policies or initiatives for the Region

- Implement HR Global initiatives and systems such as Workday implementation.

- Partner with HR peers in the implementation across Europe of procedures and processes enhancing the role and efficiency of HR.

- Follow up and work with Head of People Business Partnership, EMEA on the HR budget, HR strategy and performance partnership with EMEA and region Germany business Leaders.

- Diversity & Inclusion, act as Leader for the Region and ensure the organisation delivers on its commitments.


Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

- German as mother tongue and fluency in English.

- Resilience and ability to manage change and nimble in a complex dynamic environment.

- High degree of integrity, credibility and results orientation.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Extensive experience in a similar position with a similar scope volume.

- Deep knowledge of Human Resources practices and a demonstrated ability to provide solutions in a complex and fast-moving environment.

- Proficient in Germany Labor Law
