Position Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced, energetic, passionate and results driven Assistant General Manager. Can you inspire, lead, coach and develop the teams to deliver the Ralph Lauren Experience to an exceptional level within our Ralph Lauren Outlet store located in Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet in Lelystad? As Assistant General Manager you will maximize store performance and profitability by maintaining a customer first culture within the store. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Engagement
  • Create an inclusive working environment with a customer-centric mindset
  • Inspire the team to deliver sales and profitability
  • Unlocking talent that drives the team by developing your team product knowledges and selling skills
  • Support the induction and welcome process of new team members

Business Client Development
  • Maximize the potential of all product categories through Brand storytelling by delivering the brand image proposition to commercially enhance the journey
  • Building and fostering strong, loyal relationships between clients and the brand
  • Leveraging all clienteling tools and opportunities to drive loyalty

Operations
  • Manage inventory flow to minimize shrink loss through operational excellence
  • Managing floor recovery, size and price integrity
  • Analysis data, utilise reports and make conclusions to optimise performance and/or take corrective action in collaboration with the General Manager
  • Inspire the team to deliver sales and profitability
  • Unlocking talent that drives the team by developing your team product knowledges and selling skills
  • Support the induction and welcome process of new team members

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • The successful candidate has previous experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with an FMCG/Apparel company
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a management role
  • You have strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Dutch and English
  • You are accustomed to setting and managing store performance through KPI´s and a have a strong business acumen and skill set which enables the management and development of our employees
  • You feel comfortable working under pressure and with deadlines
