Position Overview

Do you enjoy driving very complex projects while seeking to invent and simplify?  Do you enjoy leveraging your creativity to build solutions to real world problems?  The Logistics division is looking for energetic talent for its Global Data & Analytics Team.  We want a creative, analytical and strategic driver, who is passionate about Ralph Lauren and the future of the brand.  The ideal candidate is passionate about new ideas, works effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. We dive deep on a broad range of subjects, but we are adaptable and action oriented.  We focus on quickly gaining enough context to enable informed decision-making.  Executing strategic projects that evolve the core of our operations in line with the overall business strategies is our primary objective.

You will focus on driving analytical capabilities for the logistics organization that affect distribution, transportation, and inventory. The position requires an understanding of wholesale, retail and direct-to-consumer business functions. This person will assist in planning, prioritizing, developing and communicating updates to key transformation initiatives related Data & Analytics.

 

The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of standard business processes related to distribution and fulfillment processes. This individual will assist identifying and developing KPIs for all our North America operations. They will manage priorities with the business, take on large projects themselves.

This position is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days or more in the office as required by business need.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As an Analyst of Logistics Analytics your responsibilities and typical activities will include, but are not limited to the following:

 

§  Act a core individual contributor in cross-functional Logistics projects that drive new analytical capabilities through data-driven decision-making processes & outcomes.

§  Design & develop solutions that allow for collection, processing, and analysis of logistics data across various cloud platforms, ensuring data security, compliance, and accessibility.

§  Utilize cloud-based analytics and predictive modeling to identify trends, while optimizing logistic operational capabilities.

§  In partnership with IT help in evaluating & implementing the latest analytics tools and technologies, prioritizing cloud-based solutions that offer scalability, reliability, and real-time data processing capabilities.

§  Act as core liaison between the Global Logistics function and other business units, ensuring alignment on analytical strategic initiatives.

§  Directly contribute to the development integration of cloud technology solutions within the logistics and supply chain functions, ensuring they are leveraged to their full potential for analytics and decision-making.

Provide production off-hours support to ensure business reporting & analytics uptime of proper SLA’s are met

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Knowledge and/or Key Competencies preferred:

§  Relevant work experience related to Retail, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution

§  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, WMS, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)

§  Project management skills (including prioritization and organization) with ability to help leadership influence key business stakeholders to drive positive outcomes

§  Skillsets in driving complex solutioning & delivery of analytics through scalable reporting automation with some supervision

§  Proficient SQL & Python knowledge with demonstrated use of common BI Visualization Platforms such as QlikSense, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools

§  Demonstrated skillset leveraging cloud-based integration technologies for ETL/ELT process & data transformation

§  Proficient with cloud based analytical platform implementations & capabilities (i.e Azure, AWS, GCP)
