Position Overview

Ralph Lauren Corporation seeks an experienced digital commerce business professional to join our Wholesale Services team to deliver a best in class Business-to-Business (B2B) commerce and Salesforce Automation (SFA) experience to our Wholesale Customers and Ralph Lauren business partners. In this role, the qualified candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth via B2B Digital Commerce across all Ralph Lauren brands in North America.

 

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, innovative, digital business professional that brings excellent collaboration and analytical competencies to this position.  This position requires a solid, foundational knowledge of B2B commerce, customer relationship management (CRM), digital content delivery, apparel merchandising, and inventory supply/demand management concepts along with a good understanding of consumer goods and retail business practices.   

The B2B Digital Commerce Analyst will play a key role for B2B Commerce within Ralph Lauren Wholesale from customer experience through operational execution leveraging expertise from key cross-functional areas to unlock potential, drive growth, and deliver a best-in-class digital experience.

The B2B Digital Commerce Analyst will provide day to day operational support in areas of responsibility with a continuous improvement mindset to ensure operational incidents are resolved to meet established Service Level Agreements.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • In partnership with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising and Planning – develop curated merchandise assortments, marketing campaigns and functional capabilities required to deliver incremental sales growth through the B2B digital commerce channel. 
  • Manage the syndication of product and marketing content for digital showrooms at market and in-season selling. This includes writing product descriptions, copy & other enrichment data for consumer-friendly visibility on site.
  • Create Marketing Email campaigns and Featured Shops in partnership with Sales and Merchandising partners to drive incremental sales revenue. 
  • Maintain reporting dashboards to track, visualize and analyze e-commerce data so to identify key trends and opportunities (i.e. website performance, user behaviors, conversion rates, etc …)
  • Champion new B2B technology solutions to help solve both sales and customer business challenges to deliver and maintain a best-in-class user experience.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions based on business needs and methodically document for handoff to IT partners in the solutioning and design of improved systematic behaviors with an eye on customer journey and user experience.
  • Imagine, define and execute special event programs for B2B2C commerce to elevate brand position and drive revenue growth in partnership with Sales, Marketing and Account Services.
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise throughout the change management lifecycle for new technology capabilities.
  • Provide first class support for Ralph Lauren Wholesale Customers and internal business partners.
  • Maintain a forward view on industry trends and best practices for B2B commerce and Salesforce automation to include benchmarking against industry competition.
  • Establish and maintain strong business partnerships across functional areas to promote collaboration, teamwork, and organizational alignment to include sharing of best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a deep end-to-end understanding of Ralph Lauren B2B, CRM, and SAP Order to Cash business and system processes. 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Vast experience in Business Administration, Information Systems or equivalent work knowledge within the consumer goods industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Wholesale, Retail, eCommerce, and Finance concepts and business processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in a business analyst role with B2C, B2B, and B2B2C e-commerce implementations preferably in the consumer goods or retail industries.
  • Professional level understanding of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Cloud Craze is strongly desired – with strong consideration to other B2B technology platforms such as Magento, NuOrder or Joor.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and support of successful CRM programs strongly encouraged.
  • Moderate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for validating & comparing large data sets: (i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, moderate to advanced formulas, ‘if/else’ and similar statements.
  • Insights driven, innovative and deep understanding of a wide variety of audiences (from brands to technical to agencies to media)
  • Must possess a keen eye with attention to detail as it relates to data analysis and the integrity of user journey. 
  • Moderate understanding of web standards and concepts, image optimization, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility of interest.
  • High energy, enthusiasm and ability to succeed in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work within a diverse team environment with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines for key corporate initiatives.
  • Must work well under pressure and have ability to adjust course as needs arise, balancing multiple project deliverables and timelines simultaneously.
  • This position may require domestic business travel up to 15% of the time; and extended support hours during critical project deliverables.
