Position Overview

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Overview:

  • Partner with all stakeholders (Buying & Merchandising/Retail/E-com..etc) on understanding each store and region profile through performance analysis and store communications.  Through this, execute an accurate and timely allocation that reflect the store matrix and sales plan by brand and channel
 

Responsibilities

 

1. Allocation, Replenishment & Consolidation

  • Execute the initial release of each season’s product based on launch plan in partnership with Buying/Merchandising/VM and Retail
  • Manage all replenishments across fashion, key items and core products 
  • Suggest and execute timely consolidation plan for region and/or support cross-region transfer based on business needs to maximize sell-thru
  • Leverage inventory management and allocation software to streamline processes and improve allocation lead-time and accuracy 

2. Analysis

  • Monitor and track inventory movement/missed opportunities in order to determine if any replenishment/consolidation needs to be accomplished
  • Develop and communicate allocation strategies based on location and size selling performance
  • Analyze store and size trends and performance and apply observations to future distribution planning strategies
  • Create inventory plan based on sales projection for key events including promotion and markdown
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

3. Order Management

  • Release styles for picking, packing and shipment delivery by liaising with Supply Chain partners based on priority and/or special instructions
  • Track product through DC and Transportation teams to ensure processing efficiencies, support to resolve DC processing issues to ensure timely shipment arrangements
  • Proactively communicate inbound product delays to business partners to ensure alignment on release schedules

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree holder
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (high levels of accuracy & detail-orientation)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in allocation with a good working knowledge of retail performances metrics, knowledge of ERP system is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good listening, written, and oral communication skills
  • Proven capability to organize and prioritize / manage multiple tasks simultaneously
