Position Overview

The Analytics Manager, Enterprise Business Partner will play a critical role in strengthening business partnerships with Integrated Business Planning, Finance, Planning, Digital Value Chain, Sustainability, and Supply Chain teams. This role combines strategic collaboration, analytics delivery, and stakeholder education to drive data-driven decision-making and business success.

Based in the New York metro area, the Analytics Manager will work closely with enterprise business stakeholders and IT partners to support and scale analytic capabilities. This role will troubleshoot data issues, lead enhancements, and drive the adoption of analytics tools while ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide goals.

With a focus on cross-functional collaboration, the Analytics Manager will deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics and data storytelling, foster stakeholder relationships, and advocate for data governance practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:

  • Build and sustain relationships with business stakeholders to align analytics initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Educate and empower stakeholders with tools and techniques to solve evolving business challenges.

Deliver Insights and Drive Actions:

  • Develop and refine analytical solutions to answer critical business questions across Integrated Business Planning, Finance, Planning, Sustainability, and Supply Chain.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and narratives to inspire informed decision-making at all levels.

Enhance and Operationalize Analytics Capabilities:

  • Partner with data engineers, data scientists, and IT teams to implement and scale data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure data initiatives are actionable, reliable, and integrated into business processes.

Lead Data Governance and Best Practices:

  • Promote effective data management, governance, and quality to ensure consistency across analytics tools.
  • Evangelize consistent reporting practices and foster a culture of analytics within enterprise teams.

Innovate and Execute Analytic Initiatives:

  • Drive Proof of Concepts, studies, and pilot projects to test and deliver new data-driven solutions.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

 

  • A bachelor's or master's degree. Emphasis on quantitative skills in economics, marketing, business, mathematics or related field is preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years or more of work experience in retail, ecommerce or related field with analytical or business intelligence experience preferred.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in Retail in support of a departmental and/or multi-departmental analytics initiative.
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Business Planning processes and retail/e-commerce industry knowledge is preferred. 
  • Proven experience in analytics, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • A curious and proactive attitude, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop workable solutions.
  • Expertise in data governance, ensuring accessibility, quality, and reliability.
  • Advanced skills in creating data visualizations and storytelling to communicate insights effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, professional growth, and high performance.
