We are looking for an experienced  Manager – Data Delivery to lead our data engineering initiatives, drive data-driven decision-making, and collaborate closely with stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data engineering, data visualization (preferably using MicroStrategy), cloud technologies (AWS), and stakeholder management.

  • Lead and manage data engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
  • Drive end-to-end data solutions, from ingestion to transformation and reporting.
  • Oversee data visualization efforts, ensuring effective dashboards and reports in MicroStrategy or similar BI tools.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Architect and implement data solutions on AWS, leveraging services like S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in alignment with business requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate technical concepts effectively, and influence decision-making.
  • Optimize and maintain ETL processes for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Drive best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and data quality assurance.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the data ecosystem.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • 14-18 years of experience in data engineering, BI, and cloud technologies.
  • Strong experience in data visualization, preferably using MicroStrategy.
  • Proficiency in AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Step Functions, etc.).
  • Well versed with Databricks
  • Hands-on experience with ETL development, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive alignment and influence decisions.
  • Experience in leading teams, project delivery, and working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical and business priorities.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, and data governance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, EMR, Snowflake, etc.).
  • AWS certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Exposure to modern data architectures and cloud-based analytics.
