The Integration Manager is responsible for software design, development and deployment on Integration technologies (IBM/Mulesoft).  Enforce organizational and operational development standards through governance mechanisms that include the creation, communication and dispensation of integration policies standards and procedures.

  • Provide an expert knowledge of technical and middleware architecture, and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to operations and application development teams on those topics
  • Review business drivers needs and strategies with Business and Application Architects to understand implications for technical and middleware architecture
  • Provide input to the development of project initiation documents, including the definition of objectives, scope, approach, and deliverables
  • Identify and communicate risks (business, application, technical) associated with middleware component or application implementation
  • Prepare middleware solution architecture deliverables in accordance with enterprise standards and methodologies and consistent with the target business architecture
  • Identifies and assesses emerging trends and leads implementation of new technologies.
  • Develop POC, contributes to ongoing development efforts, performs advanced code/configuration review to ensure design patterns are followed and aligns with architecture standards.
  • Interact with and influence senior management on technical matters requiring coordination between organizations
  • Has full technical knowledge of all phases of integration implementation.
  • Managing implementation of designed solutions

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • 6+ years of development experience implementing and deploying API using BTP IS, IBM APIC and/or Mulesoft API Manager
  • Experience with SAP-BTP Integration Suite (CI,open-connectors, API, integration advisor) in Development and Support projects with proven experience on migration of interfaces from SAP PO (old version) or other middleware to SAP BTP Integration suite
  • Manage onshore/offshore project teams involved in the project development and support
  • Proven experience in developing different types of integration patterns on IBM / Mulesoft stack, e.g. SOAP Web-Services, Restful Services, MQ based integrations, WebSphere Adapters (Preferably WebSphere SAP Adapters), etc.
  • Excellent technical foundation in: Java/.net, Web services, XPATH, XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, HTTP, JMS, FTP, XSLT, JDBC, SQL Server and SSL
  • Experience with DataPower security concepts (AAA, WS-Security, encryption, digital signatures, etc ).
  • Experience effectively leveraging IaaS & SaaS
  • Good understanding of Network topology, DMZs, Load balancing, Fault tolerance, clustering
  • Manage the production support managed services organization to support 24 x 7 business uptime and continuity
  • MUST be detailed oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
