Position Overview

 

Do you enjoy solving very complex problems while seeking to invent and simplify?  Do you enjoy leveraging your creativity to build solutions to real world problems? The Global Logistics division is looking for an energetic talent for its Strategy team. We want a creative, analytical and strategic thinker, who is passionate about Ralph Lauren and the future of the brand.  The ideal candidate is passionate about new ideas, works effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. We dive deep on a broad range of subjects, but we are adaptable and action-oriented.  We focus on quickly gaining enough context to enable informed decision-making and utilize project management skills to execute.  Executing analytical solutions that evolve the core of our operations in line with the Next Great Chapter is our primary objective.
 
You will focus on cross functional projects, analytics and executive communications/presentations You will be responsible for:

·        Delivering analytics to support key initiatives

·        Working cross functionally driving change throughout the organization

·        Create executive level presentations and communications

·        Evolving our strategic capabilities within our business teams

基本职责

As an Analyst, Logistics Strategy your responsibilities and typical activities will include, but are not limited to the following:

 

·    Partner with business teams to develop & deploy strategic solutions for the Global Logistics

·    Functional liaison with business teams across the Manufacturing, Sourcing & Logistics organization

·    Work cross functionally to define & develop strategic processes to enhance efficiencies

·    Provide support across the organization to ensure successful delivery of high value analytical solutions

·    Help determine what is important to the business, even in the absence of clear guidelines, to work with different teams to develop solutions that move the business forward, enable better decisions & highlight areas of opportunity, risk & process improvements.

·    Utilize data to influence and improve decision making across operational processes

·    Responsible for creating compelling, clear and powerful presentations for leadership

·    Support Strategic Initiatives, as required, to ensure success of initiatives & champion change management efforts. 

·    Ensure appropriate leverage of project management techniques including: project plans, timelines, prioritization of deliverables, resourcing, monitoring status & communication

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

    Undergraduate  degree (or equivalent) MBA a plus- operations research, information

·  systems, industrial engineering, or logistics with minimum 2 years transportation/logistics experience (or equivalent), including significant planning/analytical/quantitative experience as well as master Powerpoint proficiency with ability to create and design illustrative material
