Position Overview

The ecommerce supervisor is responsible for department online business. This includes strategizing, planning, developing and executing content plans, overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, website traffic and product performance, among other things on charged platforms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support Polo Ralph Lauren’s department online business

  • Build strong relationship with key accounts of department online shopping malls and drive our e-business through strength partnership

  • Achieve the platform’s P&L as planned. Produce revenue, unit and gross profit and operating cost targets by annual budget

  • In association with the Retail and other teams, create and drive compelling marketing plans and promotional activities to ensure the above

  • Drive productivity by assessing the costs and benefits of targeted activities with element

  • Analyze and report an e-Commerce sales data to appropriate stakeholders

  • Operate with honesty and integrity fostering quality long-term relationships between our external stakeholders and our customers

  • Online Sales Target Achievement

  • Lead the assigned department online platforms to achieving online sales target

  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales data, analyze sales figures, and seek opportunities for sales increasing

  • Provide guidance on various sales & marketing promotional activities through web environments. 

  • Customer Service

  • Monitor and support together with online retailer’s quality standard of customer relations are met including VIP, customer complaints, difficult customer handling.

  • Market Intelligences

  • Monitor and report competitors’ sales, promotional activities and overall online market trend, etc.

- Communication/Reporting

  • Timely report any issues or problems of store management or performance.

  • Co-work with related teams to increase effectiveness of platform operation.

  • Closely work with online retailers to monitor market trend, control inventory and discuss marketing activities for promotion, CRM & needs for sales increasing

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

- Minimum 7yrs retail business experience with at least 3 – 5yrs’ ecommerce business experience (Multinational company experience is preferred)

- BA degree and above

- Ability to understand and analyze sales figures
- Excellent communication and ‘people’ skills
- Result-driven
- Organizing and planning skills
- Language fluency in English preferred
