Position Overview


Lead and shape strategic vision for the Childrenswear, Home & Lifestyle divisions across buying, planning, and allocation functions. Drive cross-channel commercial excellence while optimizing financial performance and upholding brand integrity. This Senior Director role requires exceptional team management skills and strategic business acumen and offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Ralph Lauren's Childrenswear, Home & Lifestyle divisions while working with talented teams across global markets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute brand assortment and pricing strategies
  • Lead seasonal investment reviews with senior management
  • Drive cross-channel alignment and segmentation strategies
  • Partner with global stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment
  • Benchmark performance against market trends and competition


Business Operations

  • Monitor key business metrics (Sales In/Out, Gross Margin)
  • Oversee seasonal calendar and milestone execution
  • Lead line opening presentations and assortment planning
  • Optimize inventory position across channels
  • Define and communicate seasonal assortment needs to Global Merchandising


Team Management

  • Lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Drive business development initiatives
  • Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) and product planning


Experience, Skills, and Knowledge


  • 8+ years experience in Merchandising, Buying, or related fields
  • Proven track record leading multi-level teams
  • International business exposure (work/study)
  • Strong retail operations and shop floor dynamics understanding
  • Product presentation expertise
  • Fluent English proficiency (additional languages valued)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
