Position Overview

Manage and develop strategies by account to drive top line sales and a mutually profitable business relationship with an assigned account structure that supports CHAPS brand strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meet the business objectives and needs for each account in collaboration with internal planning and the account buying/planning teams
  • Develop and implement financial business plan by account to achieve internal and external sales and profit objectives.
  • Partner with Planning team to ensure financial reconciliation and  seasonal assortment plan needs are met
  • Ensure high level of professional and proactive communication with all levels of account management
  • Manage integrated marketing plan (Capital, Advertising, Collateral) by account in partnership with marketing and visual merchandising teams
  • Partner with merchandising and visual team to ensure accurate floor plans are distributed to accounts
  • Mentor sales assistant to achieve professional and personal goals
  • Business analysis and strategy planning
  • Account management and communication



Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • ·      Minimum 5 years of wholesale/retail apparel sales experience inclusive of managerial responsibility
  • ·        Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • ·        Highly motivated and organized
  • ·        Strong analytical and negotiating skills
  • ·        Strong product knowledge in Men’s Apparel Market and Brand Positioning
    • Ability to travel/flexibility
