Position Overview

The Snr. Marketing Associate is responsible for co-creating actionable programs to drive retail marketing performance across 60+ Stores in 10+ European Markets.

 This role requires sound understanding of retail performance metrics, working with complex data sets & in partnership with commercial & brand teams both within and external to the Ralph Lauren organisation.

 The ideal candidate will excel in nurturing partnerships, be a creative thinker & a persuasive communicator. They should be curious, have a results mind-set & a genuine drive for excellence.

The scope covers Ralph Lauren brands and product categories across menswear, womenswear, childrenswear & hospitality. This position is based in London & reports into the EU Marketing Manager.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in creating & delivering comprehensive 360 Marketing plans which are both brand appropriate and market right in order to drive commercial success. 

·       Co-create performance-led marketing plans to drive qualitative traffic, conversion & grow quality of sales for stores.

·       Assist in the management of the relationships with key partners to ensure the RL brand share of voice remains high within our key distribution points.

·       Own marketing communication and ensure it is kept up to date and circulated to all key stakeholders in a timely manner.

·       Oversee competitive analysis and provide regular reporting.

·       Lead post campaign analysis and reporting.

·       Implement and drive tourism strategies.

·       Clearly communicate channel strategy to internal stakeholders in order to earn buy-in for plans & bring them to life – across Marcom, Creative & Commercial teams etc.

·       Help identify innovative big ideas to guarantee strong brand awareness & engagement.

·       Assist in the delivery of global brand campaigns, including content packaging and sharing, landlord amplification and cross functional collaboration with Email, Brand, Buyers, Brand Presentation, Planners, DTC etc.

The role requires someone with strong communication skills, business mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit to be able to drive and execute ambitious projects involving multiple internal & external stakeholders – marketing peers, creative, CRM, buying and stores.

Over and above all the skills and experience required is a genuine passion and “feel” for the brand, strong interest in fashion and innovation, and the ability to inspire change and drive excitement.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

·       Bachelor Degree minimum requirement

·       Previous Experience: relevant experience in Marketing

·       Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages a bonus

·       Strong business sense and analytical capacity

·       Creative thinking skills and pro-activity in bringing new ideas and concepts

·       Curiosity and understanding of the luxury industry and competitor activities

·       Detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

·       Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·       Advanced Excel & Powerpoint skills

·       Demonstrate ownership and accountability of whole projects and general tasks

·       Demonstrate clear planning and project management
