Position Overview

Responsible for identifying and driving the strategies to grow the financial plans through innovation, integration, and elevation. Key contact for all analysis of financial data, including sell-out and net sales reports. Key relationship manager as liaison between Ralph Lauren Corp and the licensee partner with respect to brand and distribution strategy. Will partner closely with the Chaps designer on product strategy/design/development/approval/market lifecycle.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Instrumental in the development of the long-term strategy of the Chaps Licensing Team and accountable for the achievement of the LRP for total area of responsibility
  • Builds relationships with the licensees and with key retailers to influence and implement key growth strategies, focusing on maximizing product and distribution opportunities
  • Identifies new distribution opportunities and ways to effectively maximize and accelerate existing ones
  • Identifies and evaluate additional licensing or sub-licensing opportunities for the brand, both in terms of additional product categories and geographies
  • Works collaboratively with design partners (internal and external) and product development teams to develop merchandise strategies, develop line plan, and assort line.
  • Oversees strategy, product selection, and process for marketing, advertising, and in store presentation for all categories of business.
  • Motivate business partners internally & externally to innovate all product categories and brands in the Ralph Lauren portfolio.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Licensing and business development experience is required
  • Strong business development and analytical skills
