Position Overview

Ralph Lauren is growing its India based Marketing & Design IT team and is currently recruiting for a meticulous and experienced AEM QA (Adobe Experience Manager Quality Assurance) professional to join our team. 

The AEM Quality Assurance analyst is responsible for the quality and reliability of AEM-based solutions developed by the team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test strategies, as well as identifying and documenting defects to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet both client requirements and industry standards.

The AEM QA analyst will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and the product manager to execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify and report bugs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality AEM solutions.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


•Test Planning and Strategy:
  -Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for AEM projects.
  -Collaborate with project stakeholders, developers, and product manager to understand requirements and define testing objectives.
  -Identify areas for automation and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.

•Functional and Regression Testing:
  -Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing of AEM assets functionality and workflows.
  -Perform validation of content authoring features asset management and schemas / metadata
  -Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of AEM-driven web applications.

•Accessibility and Security Testing:
  -Conduct accessibility audits to ensure AEM applications comply with WCAG and other accessibility standards.
  -Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security best practices.

•Defect Management:
  -Document and track defects using issue tracking systems, such as JIRA, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  -Verify bug fixes and ensure that resolved issues meet quality standards before deployment.
•Continuous Improvement:
  -Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to AEM and QA methodologies
  -Contribute to process improvements and the evolution of QA practices within the organization.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge


•3-7 years’ experience in relevant QA/testing roles.
•Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and its core components, including Sites, Assets, and Forms.
•Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
•Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, including but not limited to Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Apache JMeter.
•Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, with experience working in Agile environments.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate solutions effectively.
•Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions within project timelines.
•Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
•Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•Certification in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or related areas is a plus.
