Position Overview
This position will support the sales growth and operational efficiency of our Wholesale and Travel Retail business in GCSEA by ensuring strategic alignment between purchasing, inventory planning, and sales execution. This role will also help reduce excess stock and improve inventory turnover for the business partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchasing and material planning strategies aligned with production schedules and inventory targets.
- Analyze business performance, SKU productivity, and trends to provide insights that drive pre-season strategy and assortment planning.
- Manage in-season reforecasting to optimize inventory and capture sales opportunities.
- Review customer orders to ensure key items are included and buying strategies are followed.
- Ensure timely order returns from all accounts to meet EMEA upload deadlines, considering varying timelines across divisions and categories.
- Coordinate with the allocation team for timely sales order creation and advise on weekly stock releases.
- Manage buybacks, defective items, uniforms, and other adjustments.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Wholesale, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Product Management.
- Advanced Excel skill (e.g. Macro and VBA etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently and collaborating across various departments.
