Position Overview
Ralph Lauren is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Associate Product Manager to support the Mobile Optimization workstream. With a key focus on site performance and user experience, this role will be responsible for understanding the evolving needs of our global customers and business partners, particularly on mobile devices. The Associate Product Manager will translate these needs from high level requests to detailed requirements and feasible MVPs. The ideal candidate is curious, innovative, and excited to use data to drive decisions. This role reports into the Manager, Product Management (Mobile Optimization & App).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work within a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team to develop new, mobile-focused products and functionality from conception, requirements definition, UX design, build, and testing through to launch
- Support in providing product vision and direction for key capabilities, working closely with global partners to understand business and customer needs in order to deliver revenue generating, best-in-class user experiences
- Translate business and customer needs into detailed requirements that provide clarity to complex problems and work with user experience/design, engineering and QA to execute and deliver high-quality products
- Perform user acceptance testing for all new features and monitor key performance indicators and customer satisfaction to analyze product performance, measure success, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support performance monitoring and reporting on site speed metrics
- Assist with A/B testing and user testing initiatives including set up, UAT, launch, and analyzing results
- Assist with materials and documentation e.g. presentation decks, new feature training documentation, etc.
- Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, developing strong relationships in support of the business
- Develop a deep understanding of Ralph Lauren’s global customer and business to inform product ideas
- Maintain knowledge of competitive products and industry trends to continually identify ways to improve the user experience
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Product management and/or similar, related experience
- Must have a customer-centric mindset grounded in data-driven findings
- Self-starter who has an instinct for taking initiative
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple, simultaneous projects and adapt quickly to changes
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across various teams, seniority levels, and projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interested in and excited about mobile, ecommerce, and/or digital technology
