Position Overview

As a Merchandise Planner within the EMEA X-Brand Team at Ralph Lauren, you will play a crucial role as a PRO OTB “control tower” X-Brand through:

* Assuring accuracy and consistency across EMEA for OTB Planning

* Driving the business towards the RL strategy by optimizing the LRP and the OTB forecast with its main KPIs

* Supporting our different stakeholders in flagging any risks or opportunities upfront


*This role is a 12 month fixed term contract* 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Collaborate and streamline the coordination X-Departments (FP&A, Business Planning, Buying, Assortment Planning) to help setting up clear targets and to facilitate the read of X-Brand KPIs on PRO

* Initiate/participate to business development projects as well as process improvements X-Brand

* Track and monitor X-Brand OTB evolution through Investment review

* Track and monitor margin evolution through EMEA Margin overview

* Drive regular discussions with Buying and Assortment Planning counterparts to assess risks and opportunities but also to align and to understand the seasonal strategy and its impact on sales and margin

* Help consolidating X-Channel picture and assure alignment X-Brand within PRO Channel

* Build clear presentations which include financial information and business strategies while delivering a clear message

* Prepare ad-hoc analysis


Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* 5 or more full strategic cycles within Planning, Buying or Finance, preferably in an international environment
* Strong computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint
* Fluent in English, another language is a plus
* Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive and dynamic with a creative thinking, solution oriented
* Highly analytical way of thinking, strong numerical/retail math skills
* Adaptive communication with strong listening and communication skills
