The Branch and Space Associate Planner supports the Planning Managers, while actively overseeing Branch & Space Analytics and Optimisation across Ralph Lauren EMEA stores. They manage detailed store reporting with a focus on optimising space & inventory, providing feedback and proposals to the business to support trade and future buys. They work in close partnership with Space Planning, Commercial Trading, Creative Services, Inventory & Distribution teams, Buying, Retail Operations, and other key stakeholders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·         Review weekly trading performance on Key Performance Indicators to identify stock issues / opportunities with emphasis on timely resolution and optimising profit

·         Provide actionable branch inventory guidance to allocation & inventory partners

·         Support and develop team’s central branch reporting process through accurate and timely generation of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual and Adhoc reporting, creating and maintaining reports in excel involving large data sets

·         Supports seasonal transition and transfer proposals

·         Support with Space and Density analysis, finding opportunities to optimise profit in store base

·         Maintenance of Sale & Promotional Calendar, feeding in relevant insights for Sale Phasing Strategy

·         Regular communication with regional managers gathering feedback from their region

·         Be open & collaborative in all ways of working

·         Lead, coach, and develop student placements

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

·         Currently working as an Assistant Merchandiser or Experienced Allocator (experience in Branch Planning or Distribution is preferable)

·         Must be dynamic, resilient, and happy to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Self-starter; highly motivated and organised

·         Strong analytical skills, proven proficiency in retail mathematics

·         Attention to detail and able to maintain good accuracy levels

·         Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners

·         High level of computer literacy, Intermediate/Advanced level excel

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Creative problem-solver and critical thinker

·         Must have desire to review / create efficiencies in processes
