Position Overview

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for driving positive change and reducing costs while increasing quality in our EMEA store building and renovation process. 

The Coordinator is responsible for development of suppliers by assisting with RFPs and market analysis (execution of special projects as required, with a focus on Sustainability). 

This includes responsibility for managing project timelines, assisting with governance and deliverables, and updating reports and dashboards as needed. 

This role will report to Manager, Sourcing for Store Development and will work closely with our RL Architectural & Design team (A + D). The Analyst will also work closely with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Operations, IT, and other Internal Customers at Ralph Lauren.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver spend analysis and data manipulation to present to senior stakeholders to make commercial decisions. 

• Leverage and maintain management information and reporting data, using the procurement system (Scout). This could include data on savings, contracts, and suppliers. 

• Help identify opportunities to generate efficiencies, improve cost and revenue. • Assist with the selection and qualification of suppliers. 

• Proactively interrogate budgets to identify opportunities and risk.

• Assist with various reporting: spend visibility, purchase orders and sustainability • Locate, meet, and develop new suppliers 

• Leverage additional opportunities for bringing sustainability into our building process

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Experience in using Excel (Pivot tables and being able to analyze a spreadsheet is essential) 

• Excellent communication skills (capable of communicating with senior stakeholders) 

• Proactive, strong attention to detail, self-starter, organised and curious mind-set. A Proactive and reactive attitude is essential in this role. 

• Analytical, influencing, facilitating, team building, strategic thinking, solution oriented, process-driven, people management, time management 

• Knowledge of sourcing & procurement practices & fundamentals
