Position Overview

The Manager of Social Marketing & Content Strategy will be responsible for expanding the brand’s online presence across key social media platforms. This role will lead the development and execution of strategic social initiatives that shape our brand voice, engage audiences, and drive measurable growth through compelling content and campaigns. Key responsibilities include driving follower growth, engagement, and purchase intent across digital channels. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a consistent and impactful social strategy globally. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of social media best practices, a strong grasp of the competitive landscape in luxury, fashion, and lifestyle, and the ability to translate insights into dynamic, social-first storytelling. creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation are essential

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business and campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with agency and cross-functional teams to develop content and campaigns to bring the Ralph Lauren story to life across social platforms.
  • Partner with the talent and influencer team to identify campaign and always on content.
  • Manage day-to-day posting, monitoring, and engagement across all Ralph Lauren social handles.
  • Monitor analytics and prepare regular performance reports leveraging internal and external tools.
  • Present regular performance updates to leadership in clear, compelling format.
  • Serve as a digital expert across Ralph Lauren’s owned and social channels, understanding user behavior, user journeys, and platform evolution to acquire and engage existing and new users across the network.
  • Deliver innovative, brand elevating content to support key strategic initiatives across owned, earned, paid, and shared channels.
  • Leverage defined content types and priority platforms to support product storytelling and marketing campaigns needed to create original content that supports RL's financial, brand and marketing objectives.
  • Maintain the storytelling & publishing cadence to support audience growth in support of key strategic initiatives across owned, earned, paid, and shared channels.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, paid teams, and regional partners to align on digital content needs, gain approvals, and share performance results.
  • Define KPIs, collect results, analyze performance, develop key actions, which will drive future strategies and executions, and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
  • Support crisis communication and align with corporate communications on messaging. 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in social media management preferred.
  • Proven track record to grow social media channels and increase engagement.
  • Skilled in content development and live publishing.
  • Proficient in using social media analytics and reporting.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and real-time decision-making skills.
  • Exhibit digital curiosity with a passion for learning emerging platforms.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills.
  • Thrive in team environments and collaborate effectively across business divisions.
