Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Clienteling (1:1), APAC is responsible for driving the design, deployment, and performance of 1:1 clienteling across APAC markets, with a primary focus on High Net Worth (HNW) and Very Important Client (VIC) development. The role translates regional clienteling strategy into consistent, high-quality execution in partnership with Retail and Market teams, ensuring measurable commercial impact and elevated luxury customer experiences.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Clienteling & CIX, APAC to define and evolve the regional 1:1 clienteling strategy
- Develop and maintain APAC-wide clienteling frameworks, playbooks, and best practices
- Support markets in embedding clienteling into daily retail operations and routines
- Drive structural adoption and effective usage of clienteling tools and platforms
- Champion AI-assisted clienteling capabilities to improve advisor efficiency and personalization
- Define and monitor clienteling KPIs including client coverage, outreach effectiveness, retention, and VIC contribution
- Analyze performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations for markets
- Collaborate closely with CRM (1:Many), Data & Analytics, Retail, and Training teams
HNW & VIC Client Development
- Own regional standards for HNW and VIC client development and management
- Support markets in strengthening client portfolios through acquisition, development, and reactivation initiatives
- Align clienteling outreach with VIC experiences, events, and gifting strategies
- Ensure consistency of elite service standards while allowing for local cultural nuance
Client Advisor Enablement & Adoption
- Develop regional toolkits and guidance to enhance Client Advisor clienteling effectiveness
- Partner with Retail and Training teams to embed clienteling behaviors and discipline
- Support change management and adoption of new clienteling capabilities
- Promote structured, insight-driven outreach and portfolio management
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- 8–12+ years experience in clienteling, luxury retail, CRM, or customer experience roles
- Strong understanding of luxury service models and HNW/VIC client expectations
- Regional or multi-market APAC experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with clienteling tools, CRM platforms, and customer data
- Strong commercial mindset with data literacy and performance orientation
- Ability to influence retail and market stakeholders without direct authority
- Candidates with less experience can be considered as Manager
