Position Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented DevOps Analyst with deep experience in Oracle Xstore and retail store systems. In this role, you’ll be responsible for enhancing, integrating, and supporting our Xstore ecosystem while driving automation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless store operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Oracle Xstore & Retail Systems
- Work hands-on with Oracle Xstore (V17 or higher), Xadmin, Xcenter, Client Engagement (CE), and related ecosystem components.
- Implement new features, enhancements, and customizations within the Xstore platform.
- Integrate Xstore with third party applications and internal systems.
- Develop new APIs or leverage existing APIs for seamless data exchange and system integration.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, bug fixes, and production support for Xstore applications.
- Troubleshoot user reported issues and deliver timely, effective resolutions.
- Maintain strong understanding of end-to-end store operations including EOD processes, inventory management, and back-office workflows.
Oracle & SQL Development.
- Work extensively with SQL and relational databases, including data modeling and schema design.
- Build advanced SQL objects such as views, tables, stored procedures, and functions.
- Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts, and scheduled jobs for performance and automation.
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data processing and ETL workflows.
- Apply strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts and shell scripting to support operational needs.
- DevOps & Automation
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, including automated build and deployment processes.
- Work with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and similar platforms.
- Build automation solutions using RPA tools like Automate Plus or UiPath.
- Identify manual operational processes and implement automation to improve efficiency.
- Develop workflow automation and scripting solutions to streamline the development lifecycle.
- Experience with Automate Desktop RPA tool is a plus.
Reporting & Analytics
- Build new reports using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Troubleshoot existing reports, resolving data quality issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Work with SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and Power Platform to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Manage report development, testing, and deployment across QA and production environments.
- Understand SSRS concepts including datasets, data sources, variables, and report configuration.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Deep technical expertise in DevOps tools, Oracle Xstore with 6–8 years of experience DevOps tools and Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, including automated build and deployment processes
- Proven experience working with Oracle Xstore and related Oracle Retail applications.
- Strong SQL development skills with hands on experience in Oracle and SQL Server environments.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with modern DevOps toolchains.
- Background in automation, scripting, and RPA technologies.
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of web services and APIs
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Industry recognized certifications is preferred.
- Experience in retail technology environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerization.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic Project Management skills.
