Pay Range: The pay range for this job is $65000 - $129225 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.

Position Overview

The Sales Manager, Childrenswear Specialty supports profitable growth and account management for the Childrenswear Wholesale Sales team. This role manages Specialty and Pure Play accounts, drives strategic alignment across cross-functional partners, and ensures strong execution in sales, assortment and inventory management. This role requires a strategic and dynamic thinker to deliver sales growth and profitability for both RL and retail partners.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies for assigned accounts to achieve revenue and profit goals
  • Partner with the Head of Sales on business strategy development and execution
  • Work collaboratively with key partners, including Account Planning, Regional Merchandise Planning, Sales and Account Services to build and sell in seasonal assortments by account
  • Own Specialty and Pure Play sales and inventory plans. Build curated and financially responsible assortments and manage appropriate inventory to support seasonal budgets
  • Manage daily account activity, including sales performance tracking, order entry, shipping updates, and reorder management
  • Monitor, analyze and action business performance metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Assist in maintaining OTB components including sales tracking, receipts monitoring, and margin analysis
  • Support Digital and Marketing initiatives to enhance online presence and contribute to integrated marketing plans
  • Maintain regular communication with merchant partners to ensure proper brand representation and implementation of retail strategies
  • Conduct regular store visits and maintain communication with field teams to monitor merchandising execution and sales strategy implementation
  • Collaborate with Replenishment team to maintain optimal inventory levels and support forecasting efforts

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • 3-5 years of retail or department store experience
  • Experience working with buyers and merchants in department store environment
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Understanding of brand positioning principles
  • Knowledge of retail operations and merchandising
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
